You might be thinking...

"There are a lot of graphic designers out there...what makes you different?"
These days, just about anyone can purchase a computer and software and call themself a designer. Weed out the amateurs from the professionals...sure, you may find a junior designer with a lower hourly rate, but in the long run you want the job done right – backed up by years of experience and success. Effective, thoughtful design helps create the face and personality of your business. Now's not the time to skimp on quality!

"What else?"
Oh, and I do both print and Web design.
It's rare these days to have designers with equal expertise in both arenas. Check out my portfolio...you'll see what I mean.

"Should I go through a creative headhunter?"
You will pay an enormous amount of money (and most of it goes to the headhunter, not the designer). What you get with me is what you pay for...no overhead costs, just exceptional quality. I'm going to work harder for every dollar you pay me. And, you'll feel good helpin' out the little guy (gal, rather).

"So, how does this work? How do I get started?"
It starts with a conversation about who you are and what you want to acheive with your project. If it's a re-branding, how do you want to project your company? From there, we'll assess what you will need, whether it's a new logo, stationary, a Web site, a brochure, etc. I'll give you a design estimate so there are no suprises for you when you get the bill.
From there, you'll be involved in the design critique and direction. I'm happy when you're happy.

"What am I actually paying for?"
You're paying me to be your graphic design expert.
I know everything there is to know about the technical aspects of production. I know how to test Web sites on different platforms and browsers to ensure it looks consistent across the board. Sure, you're paying for a sexy brochure, but you're also paying me to ensure the files are set up correctly, the colors are accurate, to research your industry, to go on press checks, etc. Again, cutting corners by going with a less experienced designer will cost you lots of money in the end. Let's not go there.

"What's it like to work with you?"
To quote my old boss "You're the best designer I've ever worked with." I take that compliment to heart. I truly enjoy the process of creating great pieces, and when you enjoy what you do it makes it enjoyable for everyone around. I like spending time with me, and I think you will too.
